UV Lights & Torches
The UltraViolet Lights / Lamps & UV LED Blacklight Torches / Flashlights - For many applications including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Pentrant Testing (DP), Leak Testing, Purity Control, Smart (DNA) Water Detection, Sanitation, Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic work, Hotel Inspections, Art verification and restoration and many many many more.
The Labino Ultraviolet UV Lights give exceptional UV light output without generating a great deal of heat. This allows the cases to be totally sealed to IP65 so they may be safely splashed with water, etc. As no cooling fans are needed, the lights are lighter, quieter and need less maintainance. The lights are available in a variety of case styles. Battery or Mains Operation (115v / 230v) and with a choice of Floodlight, Midlight or Spotlight Beam Profiles (see below). Benefits of Labino MPXL UV-lamps Unbeatable UV-irradiance/feed Watt, up to 70.000 microwatts/cm2 at 15” and full UV-A emission (315-400nm). This creates new possibilities, i.e. inspections in normally lit areas even outdoors in daylight with maintained contrast-to-background and maximized probability of detection. Quality/safety is improved, time of inspection is reduced. 35W output power - low heat generation and energy consumption. No need for cooling fans. Creates a pleasant work environment, reduces energy costs.
Immediate start/restart - full power in appr. 15 seconds. Competing lamps need up to 15 minutes to warm up.
Saves time!
IP 65 classified - Dust tight, withstands temporary water spray. CE-marked - According to Electromagnetic Compatibility and the Low Voltage Directive. Safe products! The TrAc Finder Crime Kit, Astra LED Torch Light & The New Nova LED Torch Forensic ALS (Alternative Light Source / Alternate Light Source) are invaluable for detecting substances (forensic trace) at a crime scene such as body fluids, fingerprints, bruising, hair, fibres, foot prints, Ninhydrine (treated fingerprints), Superglue(treated fingerprints) Flourescent dyes, powders, stamps, markers, basic yellow 40, Cyanoacrylate, smart dna water and general searching.
The Labino White lamps have a unique white luminance, which makes it possible to see things that have not been possible before. The Labino White Lights are available in three important distinctions - floodlight, midlight or spotlight, each giving different beams and intensities. The spotlight has the greatest focus and is the most intense, and the floodlight has the widest beam but a lower intensity. The midlight is in between. The Labino White Light Lamps obtains full power in 5-15 seconds and can be switched on and off whenever used, without pre-cooling. You can use the lamp outdoors, even in the rain, as the lamp is IP65 certified. Mains Powered Labino White Lights Portable Labino White Lights

UTE-3 UV Inspectability Scale & Visual Comparator.
The UV Inspectability Scale is used under ultraviolet UV Light to determine if fluorescent brightness at the test surface is adequate and in proper contrast to ambient white light. It can also disclose whether the operator can see the size indication he is seeking.
The scale consists of a series of fluorescent circles, within which are smaller white circles, within each of which is a fluorescent "X". The brightness of each succeeding white circle and fluorescent "X" diminishes until the last in the series is no longer visible. The scale is held at the test surface and the operator determines which of the X's he can see. If the operator cannot easily see up to and including the X at 30 percent relative fluorescent brightness, the fluorescent light source should be brought closer to the work surface or the fluorescent intensity should be increased. If, when the scale is held at the test surface, the white circles appear to be as bright as the corresponding fluorescents X's, the ambient white light is excessive and the fluorescent contrast is diminished. To correct this, the ambient white light must be reduced or the fluorescent intensity increased. Also included with the Inspectability Scale, are a fluorescent inch and metric ruler and a series of measured fluorescent dots and black dots, for defect indication comparison.
The Visual Comparator consists of sentences printed in Jaeger 1 and Jaeger 2 print sizes. The operators ability to read the appropiate sentence (J1 or J2 as required by the applicable specification at the test surface) determines his ability to test under the test lighting conditions. If the operator can read the J1 or J2 lines as appropiate, under eye test conditions, but not at the test surface, test lighting is inadequate and must be corrected. Additionally, there are a series of measured lines to be viewed for determining if vision contrast is adequate under the existing lighting conditions. If the 1/64th inch line cannot be easily seen when the compartor is held at the test surface, test lighting is inadequate.
