Billets and Bars Inspection Systems ScanMaster offers a variety of immersion scanners for inspection of round and square bars and billets, as well as tubes and shafts intended for use in aerospace, steel and other industries. Both conventional and phased array transducers are incorporated in such scanners. Squirter based Inspection systems The extensive use of composite materials in manufacturing of aerospace and naval parts and structures is dictating an increasing need for adequate, reliable, high throughput inspection systems. Structural parts can be scanned using various configurations of squirter systems, in both pulse-echo and thru-transmission modes. ScanMaster offers all possible scanning configurations, including overhead gantry with travelling bridges, dual scanning towers, flatbed scanners, and systems based on industrial robots. ScanMaster squirter systems are designed to inspect a wide range of aerospace structures, from flat panels to complex curvature parts. Both conventional, high penetration UT and phased array technologies are available.
Supported Scanner Configurations Travelling bridge type scanners are suitable for inspection of single curvature parts (one bridge systems) or double curvature parts (two bridge systems). Large Forgings ScanMaster supplies efficient and reliable ultrasonic inspection systems for large, rotary-symmetrical forgings and castings, such as forged compressor and turbine disks used in stationary gas turbines for electric power production. Highly functional and rugged mechanics include a unique servo-driven part rotating platform that enables access to all surfaces and vertical chucking of parts. The specially designed manipulators mounted on a robotic arm can accommodate a large number of transducers, allowing for enhanced inspection coverage and shorter inspection times. Longitudinal SAW Inspection Systems The AS-200L Systems inspect Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded Pipes(L- SAW), including the plate before pipe forming, weld, Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) and pipe end.
