Labino MB Series UV LED
The Labino MB 3.0 Series - UV LED Hand-held UV Lamp - MB ZEUS, MB HERMES, MB SELENE, MB ATLAS & MB HERCULES EX.
Certified with an ingress protection marking of IP68 Waterproof, this light and compact lamp has been designed for heavy
industries with a very difficult operating environment.
This compact light is simply Genius! A combination of smart mechanics and efficient electronics, designed to survive extreme temperatures and
harsh working conditions, 24×7. Penetrant resistant and certified with an ingress protection marking of IP68 WATERPROOF.
There are four MB 3.0 Series models, Zeus, Hermes, Selene and Atlas. Depending on the model, the beam diameter is 8-9 inches / 20-22 cm
and with intensities that vary from ≈ 4,500 to 9,000 μW/cm2. Zeus and Selene are equipped with a strong white light as well. Spray can holder
accessory Athena is available factory installed or as a later addition (PN: A503).
Selected models have been tested to comply with ASTM E3022-18, Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 and Airbus AITM6-1001. Battery running times are
up to 3.5 hours.
Members of the US military should ask for MB 3.0 Atlas (PN for AC powered: L125, PN for Battery powered: L124). MB 3.0 Atlas battery with
Athena spray can holder attached carries PN: L126.
Overview
MB 3.0 Series products, Zeus, Hermes, Selene and Atlas are lamps with a powerful and wide UV-A output varying from 4,500 to 9,000 μW/cm2.
Zeus and Selene offer a strong white light for after inspection as well. Hermes and Atlas do not have a white light for organizations that do not
allow white light during inspections.
MB 3.0 Selene: 9,000 μW/cm2 with strong white light
MB 3.0 Atlas: 9,000 μW/cm2 without white light
MB 3.0 Zeus: 4,500 μW/cm2 with strong white light
MB 3.0 Hermes: 4,500 μW/cm2 without white light
High quality UV-A LEDs, with white light block filters that do not suffer from solarization, provide a large coverage, depending on which model, in
excess of 8-9 inches / 20-22 cm, and weigh less than many comparable products. The mains operated model weighs just 0.65 kg (1.4 lbs) and the
battery-operated model weighs just 0.68 kg (1.5 lbs). They are widely used for field inspections or on an MPI bench. All MB 3.0 Series models
have an ingress protection certification of IP68.
Members of the US military should ask for MB 3.0 Atlas (PN for AC powered: L125, PN for Battery: L124). MB 3.0 Atlas battery with Athena spray
can holder attached carries PN: L126.
The MB 3.0 Zeus UV hand-held is also part of the INSPECTOR KIT (PN: K001) that also includes UVG5 2.0 Midlight UV headlight, UVG3 2.0
Midlight UV flash light and Apollo 2.0 UV and white light meter. US Airforce should ask for K002.
There are four different MB 3.0 models, Zeus, Hermes, Selene and Atlas, producing different intensities and tested to comply with a number of
NDT standards. All 4 models come as Battery powered and/or AC (Mains) powered and peak at 365nm. A number of mounting accessories are
available for AC (Mains) or Battery versions. Zeus and Selene are equipped with a strong white LED light as well for after inspection.

Labino MB Athena is a MB Battery UV LED Light with a spray can holder attached. An innovative accessory
that can be mounted on any battery model and allows the NDT Inspector to operate the spray can
simultaneously with a strong UV Light that is in compliance with ASTM E3022 and the PRIMES requirements.
Rubber Bumper

Labino Rubber Bumper (F111) is a simple slip over rubber bumper to offer further protection to the front of
your MB Series Light. Protects against knocks and bangs during operation and when placing back on the
bench. Penetrant Resistant. For use with all models except ATHENA.
Friction Arm

Labino Friction Arm (A530) is a high quality, flexible and easy-to-use support system. The system is suitable
for many different applications, enabling the operator to work with two free hands. Jointed arm with just one
large locking knob. Either free stand on the 3 leg base or clamp to bench etc. via the second clamp.
Length: 53 cm (21”). Weight: 1.07 kg (2.35 lb) are only, 2.55 kg (5.61 lb) complete.

Explosion Proof

Labino MB Hercules Ex is extremely durable product specifically developed for use in areas where the risk of an explosion is high. Use of
explosion proof products is often required in Offshore Oil Rigs, refineries, Aerospace and Defence. It has successfully completed extremely
tough tests, amongst them tests for thermal conditioning, Impact Tests, Drop Tests, IP Tests that led to the ATEX Certification (Certificate:
ITS17ATEX402144X). This unique product is suitable for use in extreme weather conditions varying from 104o Fahrenheit (+40o Celsius) to minus
4o Fahrenheit (-20o Celsius). Furthermore, Hercules Ex has successfully completed all tests and audits leading to it’s certification for IECEx, NFPA
70 Article 500 for Class I (divisions II locations) and the United States military tests, Salt Fog Test as per military standard 810F and Explosive
Atmosphere Test as per military standard 810G. It has an ingress protection marking of IP66. This unique light is battery powered, it has four UV
LEDs and has an intensity of 4,000 μw/cm2. A Charger is supplied with each lamp enabling users to charge the batteries without removing them
from the lamp. Charging of batteries should only take place outside explosive atmospheres.

These clear lens spectacles and faceshields offer 99.9% protection against ultraviolet radiation, provide
optimum viewing contrast and help reduce fatigue. They are lightweight and fit comfortably.
MB Variable Gooseneck Arm

Labino MB Variable Gooseneck Arm (A533) - The MB Arm has a clamp at the lower part that mounts on a
bench or hard surface and a screw at the top especially designed to fit the MB series lights.
The heavy-duty snake shape body allows the user to form any angle required to keep the MB facing a specific
position.
Features
The MB 3.0 Series family of products has been specifically designed to meet the ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards as well
requirements set by the PRIMES. The optics used in the MB 3.0 Series meet the Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 specification. The beam profile of the
UV light is extremely homogeneous without any footprints showing from the LEDs, shades, dark spots or other disturbing defects.

Olympos Measurement Stand

Labino Olympos Measurement Light Stand (A542) - Measure the UV-A and white light output of any of
your Labino UV Lights with repeatable accuracy at 15 inches (38cm) and stay in compliance with the pledged
standards. Interchangeable plates to fit various Labino lamps. The plates that accommodate the lights can be
adjusted up or down along the 20 inch / 50 cm line.
Apollo 2.0 Light Meter

Labino Apollo 2.0 Meter (A542) - Radiometer/photometer measuring the UV and visible light via a wireless
sensor.
Apollo 2.0 is traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and is in compliance with ISO
3059-12. Calibrated in accordance to ISO / IEO 17025.
Battery or Mains Powered
Powered with your choice of either two rechargeable
